Check out the winners from last week’s CrowdRules challenge for the best Rubik’s Cube video ever. This guy solves his one-handed. Another guy does it blindfolded. There’s even a 3 year old who solves hers in 114 seconds while sitting in her highchair. Come on!!!

No, this isn’t David’s mom.

David Robinson and I have been friends for many years now. No, not the basketball player, he’s actually a UED guy on lots of web projects. David’s blog states it’s about *design, funnies and general debauchery*. I think this photo (found on David’s blog) fits into each of those themes.

When I describe the Twiistup blog to people I say it’s about *cool things on and off the web* and I think, er hope that this photo fits into both of those themes. I’m not if there’s a theme that this photo doesn’t fit into – it’s just that cool. Actually, the coolest part is that David’s mom sent it to him. I’m going to try and get David’s mom to go to Twiistup 2. Although Twiistup 3 (in Vancouver BC CA) might be a shorter trip for her since she’s in Canada.

The absolute coolest thing about this photo is how much I’ve managed to write about it. It’s just that cool. Thanks to David mom for sending it to David and thanks to David for posting it – check out his blog for other cool pix (like this one).

Oooooh! A Kwik-E-Mart just opened up down the street from the Google and Microsoft campuses in fabulous Mountain View, CA. I got my picture with Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, eyed Springfield’s favorite Sprinklicious donuts, and sampled some Buzz cola. The best part was their special on hot dogs – three for the price of three. Mmmm… hot dogs. Checkout more pics here.
